Who are music therapy services appropriate for?
Music Therapy is an effective treatment for a variety of populations and
age groups. Anyone with a cognitive, emotional, communicative, motor,
adaptive or sensory need might be a good candidate for music therapy.
Just as each individual has his/her own strengths and needs, each person
responds differently to music therapy treatment. We offer each new client
a FREE SCREENING. This 30-minute appointment allows one of our
MTs to determine if music therapy is an appropriate treatment. This also
allows our therapists to determine the best placement for the potential
client.
