| Music Lessons |
| Music Lessons We offer private lessons for piano, guitar and voice. The focus of these lessons is performance on the instrument as well as music theory education. Learning music theory doesn't just mean learning to read notes - it means learning to hear them (aural skills), feel them (rhythm) and create them (composition). Learning music in a well-rounded fashion enables students to be life long musicians - as well as gives them a head start for other instruments in the future! All of our teachers are board certified music therapists. The job of a music therapist includes using music effectively for different people with different learning styles. We utilize this same skill set when teaching music lessons. Our teachers are able to combine a variety of teaching methods to ensure each student is successful. We do require our students to have a quality instrument at home for practice. Practice is essential for mastery of a musical instrument. Every student at MTS of GA is invited to perform in our recitals. These recitals are held every spring and summer. Read more about our adaptive lessons here. |
